Ashes can’t be handled. No matter what you put them into, a ceramic urn, a wooden, plastic or cardboard box, you run the risk of an accident, the ashes will end up on the floor.
To us, ashes aren’t finished.
To many, urns, small caskets and inside fake rocks have had their day, they’re yesteryear’s keepsakes.

Can be handled and held close, just like your pet was.
Can be placed somewhere discreet and meaningful to you and your pet
Can be taken with you if you move house
